Alireza Mohajer said regarding the compilation of the documents on the cultivation pattern in the provinces: In the modification of the cultivation pattern, several conditions have been seen so that in addition to saving water consumption, we can also reduce the waste in the agricultural sector, as well as increase the productivity in the agricultural sector and the income of farmers.

Mohajer added: We have approximately 12 million hectares of arable land in the country, half of which is irrigated and the other half is rainfed. In the rainfed lands, by modifying the cultivation pattern, we seek to increase the yield per unit area, reduce costs and use modern technologies to be able to produce increase in the country.
