Navid Reza Farhani stated: The area of flower and ornamental plant production centers in the province is currently 65 hectares, of which 20 hectares are covered by greenhouses and 45 hectares are open spaces. The province includes a variety of houseplants such as Sansoria, Aglonma, Petus, Zamiphylla, Chamador and Benjamin.
He said: All kinds of cut flowers such as sterlitzia, Iranian narcissus, Dutch narcissus and anthurium, all kinds of ornamental shrubs, all kinds of cacti, seasonal and blooming flowers like marigolds, parsley and violets are among the other products produced and grown in the province. .
Farhani added: In addition to the domestic consumption of the province, the products produced by flower production centers are sent to other parts of the country and provincial centers.
He continued: The cultivation, production and sale of greenhouse products bring good income to the producers and considering the high added value, it is considered as a profitable economic activity.
Farhani said: The production of greenhouse products under the cover increases the water efficiency by 10 times and by creating stable employment, it helps the livelihood of the working families in this sector.
