According to the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, Gholamreza Tagvi, in a conversation about the status of production and the amount of export of flowers and ornamental plants, said: due to the situation of Corona, the production of flowers and ornamental plants (greenhouse and outdoor) last year (1400) with the trend The increase has reached 4532 million.

Referring to the decrease in the export of these products, he reminded: According to the official statistics of the customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the last ten months of last year, the export of flowers and ornamental plants was equal to 6947.3 tons with a value of 13880.4 thousand dollars, which compared to In the same period, there has been a decrease of 28.8% in weight and 36% in value.

Taqavi cited the increase in strictness in the implementation of the protocol related to the export of ornamental trees and shrubs with soil as one of the reasons for the decrease in exports, and added: Also, witnessing the decrease in purchasing power, which is a globally evident thing, is also considered as one of the other reasons.

He clarified: A part of the export products left the country in Rials, which are not included in the official export statistics.
