Shirani also announced the production of 500,000 modified fruitful seedlings this year in 16 nurseries with an area of more than 10 hectares in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and said: the value of this amount of seedlings produced is more than 120 billion Rials.
He stated that the entry of seedlings with seeds to Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari is prohibited due to some diseases and quarantine conditions, he said: the operators must necessarily use the products of the licensed nurseries of the province.
The Director of Horticulture Affairs of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Agricultural Jihad added: Distribution seedlings include kernel species such as walnuts, almonds, nectarines, peaches, cherries, and cherries, and seed species such as apples, peaches, and pears.
Shirani pointed out: According to the planning, and until the end of the seedling distribution, another 100,000 saplings of modified low-water and late-flowering cultivars approved by the Technical and Plant Conservation Committee of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Agricultural Jihad and rainfed grapes from Kurdistan and producing provinces will be distributed.
