The Acting Deputy Director of Planning of the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad said: Farmers' loans are extended for one year, if natural disasters occur in the next crop year, the loan extension process will be repeated.

According to Dehghan News, quoted by Sada and Sima news agency, Alaie Moghadam pointed to the warning of some parliamentarians about the postponement of agricultural loans and said: The extension of agricultural loans requires a mechanism that has special rules and regulations. Either it should be legally approved in the parliament or agricultural loans should be extended based on the field investigations of the crisis management headquarters of the provinces.

He added: For example, the crisis management headquarters can reflect the drought, flood, and natural disasters that happened in each province through the investigations, so that the extension of agricultural loans can be realized based on these incidents.

He stated that this year has been a special year for Iran's agriculture, including the last year's drought and the popularization of subsidies and the removal of the 4,200 Toman currency, the effects of which were also seen in the agricultural sector. Agriculture, we witnessed the implementation of support plans for livestock farmers and farmers.

Alaie Moghadam pointed out that the support scheme for the popularization of subsidies has been implemented and added: the support schemes include issuing livestock cards, providing low-interest facilities and also working capital facilities, the effects of which were clearly visible in agricultural inputs.
