Head of Ardabil Agricultural Jihad Organization: 17 thousand hectares of agricultural lands have been deeded
The head of Ardabil Province Agricultural Jihad Organization said: 17 thousand hectares of agricultural land in Ardabil Province received a one-page ownership document after the revolution.
In an interview with Mehr reporter, Nader Taghizadeh said: While we are celebrating the 44th spring of the revolution, during this time we are witnessing a significant leap in the agricultural sector.
He clarified: Before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, in comparison with before the movement of Imam Rahel, the movement of production, productivity, equipment, facilities and knowledge of agriculture, we are witnessing a fundamental transformation and a significant growth, which can be seen in all fields. did
The head of Ardabil Province's Agricultural Jihad Organization pointed to the production of horticultural products and said: Before the revolution, the production of horticultural products in this province was 45,000 tons, but now this figure has increased to 366,000 tons.
Taghizadeh mentioned the production of three million and 100 thousand tons of crops including beans, grains, oilseeds, fodder and other crops in Ardabil province and added: this amount of production was 732 thousand tons before the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
He also pointed to the increase in the production of livestock products and continued: These products, including milk, red meat, white meat, honey and eggs, have seen a good jump in the last 44 years, compared to before the revolution, when we saw 140 thousand tons of livestock products. Now this figure has increased to 345 thousand tons.
Taghizadeh mentioned the production of aquatic plants from 150 tons before the revolution to 10,000 tons and noted: "In the field of medicinal plants, we did not have any production before the revolution, but now the production of medicinal plants has increased to 1,000 tons."
He pointed to the development of greenhouse units, including the production of mushrooms and ornamental plants, and said: "Before the revolution, we did not see any action in this field, but now 130 hectares of greenhouses have been put into operation and 180 hectares are under construction."
Taghizadeh mentioned the production of 30,000 tons of various greenhouse products in the province and added: the mechanization rate of the agricultural sector has increased from 45 percent to 2.37 percent, which is a remarkable figure.
In another part of his speech, he stated: The improvement of irrigation canals before the revolution was 300 km, but now it has reached 1,600 km.
Taghizadeh mentioned the developments in the development of modern irrigation systems and stated: these systems have increased to 106 hectares and other plans are being implemented in this area.
He said: In the implementation of irrigation sub-networks, we have achieved development from 10,000 hectares to 32,000 hectares, and this trend continues in the sector of equipping and renovating agricultural lands with 22,000 hectares after the victory of the revolution.
Taghizadeh added: Before the victory of the revolution, the statistics of the province were zero in the development of transformation and complementary industries, but after the victory of the revolution, this number has reached 230 units with employment of 3,500 people.
The head of Ardabil Province's Agricultural Jihad Organization also mentioned the issuance of agricultural documents and continued: Before the revolution, none of the agricultural lands in this province were deeded, and in recent years, the deeding of agricultural lands is underway, and so far 17 thousand hectares of agricultural land have been deeded. They received a single-leaf document from the province's agriculturists.
