According to Dehghan News, citing Mehr, Seyed Javad Sadatinejad said at the unveiling ceremony of the achievements of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Center: The previous years' experiences have shown the activities of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (TAT) and today these activities are necessary in The area of product growth should accelerate. Research achievements should be implemented and applied quickly.

He added: The expectation of the people and farmers is that the results of this research will be seen in implementation. In this way, the livelihood is improved and the production of the agricultural sector is healthier and more compatible.

The Minister of Jihad of Agriculture, referring to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution's visit to the agricultural exhibition, stated: The Supreme Leader of the Revolution had several recommendations during this visit, one of these recommendations was related to food security in view of the current global conditions. This concern should be on the agenda of the TAT organization.

This member of the cabinet of the 13th government reminded about this: The supreme leader of the revolution during his 3-hour visit to the agricultural exhibition was asked about agricultural statistics and information in detail. Currently, one of the problems of the agricultural sector is that there is no detailed information about products and activities.

The Minister of Jihad of Agriculture said: Currently, the country's agricultural production figures are from 90 to 140 million tons. Further, at the end of each government and the beginning of the new government, these numbers are criticized.

He stated: The figures are estimates which have caused good management in this sector and we cannot meet the needs of the people. Therefore, in different periods, we were faced with a shortage of certain fruits and vegetables or overproduction.

The Minister of Jihad pointed out: In the world, after the military field, food security is in the next position, so the observatory was launched to obtain accurate statistics of the area under cultivation, the place of production, the owner of the land, the product that was cultivated on the land, etc. Be clear. In this way, we can accurately announce the amount of production of wheat, barley, etc.

Sadatinejad continued: The data center was unveiled in the Research, Education and Promotion Organization to be a support in this regard.

In the continuation of his speech, the Minister of Jihad Agriculture pointed to the advice of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and said: Productivity is one of the other concerns of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, that we need to plan what products to have in which province and with what amount of production. Investing in productivity has led to the cheapening of food and the mission of cheapening food production was entrusted to the TAT organization, which is possible with the two components of increasing productivity in production and eliminating middlemen. The role of achievements in cheapening and increasing the quality of products is important.

Referring to handing over affairs to the private sector, he continued: According to the leadership's recommendation, this should be done more quickly.

In the end, Sadatinejad reminded: the use of indigenous capacities is an issue that must be pursued in the TAT organization, for example, cotton cultivation in Sistan and Baluchistan is one of these capacities that must be revived.
