Iran's agricultural cooperation from Southeast Asia to Africa
Iran's agricultural relations with African and Southeast Asian countries are expanding.
According to the Mehr reporter, this week the president arrived in China with a high-level delegation in order to expand economic and political interactions with Asian countries at the official invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping. Seyyed Javad Sadatinejad, Minister of Jihad Agriculture, is accompanying Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi on this trip.
The Minister of Agricultural Jihad emphasized on increasing the number of Chinese students in Iran to study agriculture.
Sadatinejad stated that the most important principle in the production of agricultural products is that the results of scientific research reach the farm, adding: Iran's Agricultural Research, Education and Promotion Organization has many scientists whose scientific findings must be simplified and translated for farmers so that these findings can be implemented in the farm. Of course, promoters help farmers in the fields.
Emphasizing the definition of joint projects between the two countries in the agricultural sector for greater interaction between Iranian and Chinese researchers, he said: These projects can be in the field of rice production in salt water, breeding and nutrition for industrial livestock production and seed modification.
Participation occasions
Qasim Pishevar, a member of the Chamber of Agricultural Guilds of Iran, said about the agricultural relations between Iran and China: China has done a lot of work in the field of electricity production, power plants and drainage in the comprehensive plan of agriculture. Surface water in the north of the country is harming the agricultural sector, while using these water sources, we can provide all the needs of the country's rice market, and we do not need to import one million tons of rice per year. Cooperation with China can be an opportunity for foreign capitalists to use technical knowledge to implement this plan, which was keyed before the revolution but has not yet come to fruition.
He stated: Currently, Iranian saffron, kiwi and orange are among the products requested by China for export to this country.
Inayat Elah Biabani, the deputy head of Keshavarz House, also believes in this regard: China has a very large population and it is difficult to provide them with food. This market can help export the surplus of Iran's agricultural products and earn foreign currency for the country. In this regard, agricultural and garden surplus products should be exported by providing facilities.
In addition, Kambiz Bazargan, the head of the Soil and Water Research Institute, stated that China has made great progress in the agricultural sector and said: China has made great progress in agricultural research and agricultural products such as rice and new varieties of this product, cereal items, tea, silkworm, etc. There have been improvements. In the discussion of desertification and prevention of desert expansion, many studies have been conducted in this country, which can provide a proposal package at the international level along with the studies of Iranian researchers.
He continued: introducing new crop cultivars such as rice that is suitable for suitable soil conditions and can be planted according to soil and water salinity conditions is one of the other achievements of China's agricultural sector.
Economic cooperation with Africa
In a meeting with his Zimbabwean counterpart, the Minister of Jihad Agriculture announced the principles of the government's foreign policy based on constructive interaction with all the countries of the world, expansion of political, economic and cultural cooperation with the friendly country, Zimbabwe, emphasized by the President of Iran and important for the agriculture of the 13th government. did
The Ministers of Agriculture of Iran and Zimbabwe sat at the negotiation table today in Tehran, contract farming, technical know-how, technology transfer, clearing the production capacities of the two countries, agricultural mechanization, poisons, fertilizers, production and breeding of aquatic animals in cages were among the issues that were discussed and exchanged. The opinion of the parties was included in this meeting.
Referring to industrial milk powder, Sadatinejad mentioned: Iran is one of the major producers and exporters of this product, and Tehran is ready to meet the needs of Harare. Of course, in addition to that, with Iran's large food industry companies, we can provide Zimbabwe's 300,000 tons of pasta and other food items.
Danger of toxins and human health
The production and use of all kinds of poisons in the agricultural sector leads to greater exploitation of God-given resources. But high-risk toxins may increase a 200-gram product to 300 grams, but their accumulation in products will ultimately endanger people's health.
Heydar Ali Hedayati, one of the activists of the agriculture sector, said about the poisons consumed inside: The amount of poison that the gardeners give to the flowers of the trees is one liter of poison in 20 liters of water for one hectare of trees, which is not normal. Animal and poultry manure should replace chemical fertilizers.
He added: Cancer, infertility, and the increase of defective genes are the result of such a practice in the field of pest generation of agricultural products, while basic agriculture in European countries is such that poisons are applied to the flowers and stems of trees, not the roots.
Referring to the import of poisons from China, Hedayati said: "In order to improve the agricultural sector, we must move towards new technology." The Ministry of Agricultural Jihad has no management in this regard; The class promotes and provides basic education. In Iran, there is no estimate that based on this amount of fertilizer and poison consumption for, for example, plum orchards, how much should we harvest. These differences are not seen in Iran.
Necessity of identification code for horticultural products
The country's plant protection organization issued a notice regarding the deadline for registration of garden and garden products to obtain an identification code in the Sumak system. In this announcement, the need to speed up the registration and request to receive the ID code of all the operators of the production units (orchards, farms and greenhouses) has been emphasized, and the failure to register on time in the Sumak system by complying with the stated requirements is the reason for not obtaining the health improvement certificate. From the end of September 1402, the mentioned products will not be approved by this organization.
Due to the fact that gardens and the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers start at least from the middle of March, the deadline for registration for garden products (kiwi, apple, tree, date, citrus, pistachio, pomegranate) that has been uploaded to the system is until 15 March of this year has been determined and by this date, the contract between the applicant and the technical officer must be concluded and uploaded into the system, and after this date, registration in the Sumak system for these products will not be possible in the current crop year. Also, it should be mentioned that for Jalizi products (greenhouse-agricultural) because the cultivation time is different in different regions of the country, the applicants to receive an identification number (QR code) must register in the Semak system before planting, and the identification code will only be issued for these products when At least two months have passed since the date of signing the contract between the applicant and the technical officer. All producers of vegetable products (cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, bell peppers and celery) loaded in the health promotion system of plant products according to the cultivation time of their region should coordinate to register in the Sumak system and complete the monitoring procedures on time. reach and observe the minimum time announced.
Basic commodity and its market
White beans experienced an 8.62% and 3.51% increase in the price of peas within a week. This is despite the fact that in less than a month, white beans have increased in price by 16.67% and peas by 9.26%.
The Minister of Agricultural Jihad announced with the implementation of the "Fajr to Fitr" plan: 34 items, which are among the basic and consumer goods of the people, will be offered with a discount of 10 to 25 percent so that the consumer market during the days of Eid and the holy month of Ramadan will have peace and balanced prices. be
The head of the National Union of Chain Stores also emphasized: 34 items of basic goods are sold with special discounts in chain stores across the country. In this regard, chain stores with 9,500 stores throughout the country supply and distribute basic goods and other necessities of the people. In this list, foreign and domestic rice, red meat and frozen chicken, dairy products and legumes can be mentioned.
Tips about oils
A member of the board of directors of the country's vegetable oil trade association, in response to the question of which oil is best for home use, said: In this regard, consumption and use should be considered and the required oil should be selected. For example, extra virgin olive oil can be used with low heat. In fact, refined and refined oils such as olive oil and sesame oil can be used at low temperature for spitting and deep-frying food items.
Timur Mohammadi said: "Oil alone does not guarantee health, but the way it is used is very important according to the usage and the right choice of oil." Therefore, in cases where the edible product is to be fried in oil, only special oils for frying should be used. The use of liquid oils such as soybean, canola and sunflower can be used for low-temperature and short-term frying, but it is not recommended.
Mohammadi stated: semi-solid oils, butter and animal oil such as pi and dal can be useful oils as long as they do not reach the smoke point.
