Predicting a 10% growth in the production of 3 important Iranian grains in 2023
The Foreign Agricultural Service Office of the United States predicted that the production of three important grains in Iran this year will face a growth of about 10% compared to the previous year and will reach more than 18 million tons.
According to Tasnim news agency, the American Foreign Agricultural Services Office attached to the Ministry of Agriculture of this country in its latest report called "Grains; Markets and World Trade" has predicted that Iran's wheat production will reach 13.2 million tons this year with a 10% growth compared to the previous year.
10% growth of Iran's wheat production during 2023, while the world wheat production is expected to increase by only 0.5% during this year and reach 781 million tons.
Barley production in Iran will increase by 11% in 2023 and will reach 3 million tons. Iran has produced 2.7 million tons of barley in the previous year.
According to this report, Iran's rice production in 2023 will face a 5% increase compared to the previous year and will reach 2 million tons. Iran's rice production in 2022 was announced to be 1.9 million tons.
Based on this, the production of the three important grains of wheat, rice and barley in Iran this year will increase by 9.6 percent compared to the previous year and will reach 18.2 million tons.
