According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by Sedav-Sima, Safdar Niazi Shahraki said: 6 million hectares of the country's land are cultivated and 2 million 500 thousand hectares are gardens.

Referring to the decrease in rainfall and the change in the type of precipitation from snow to rain, the deputy minister of water and soil added: previously, about three million hectares of agricultural land were irrigated through wells and aqueducts, and the change in the drought has affected this area of agriculture. .
