In an interview with Tasnim, "Gasem Pishevor", the head of the agricultural trade union system, said regarding the determination of the guaranteed purchase rate of wheat for the coming year: due to the increase in the costs of fertilizers and pesticides and harvesting, farmers expect that due to the importance of wheat as a commodity Basically, the price increase will happen.

Also, considering the increase in costs that occurred from the time of planting to harvesting wheat, our concern is that if this price increase does not occur, some of our farmers will feed their own green wheat.

He added: We suggested that the purchase price of wheat should also increase at this time when most of the wheat production intermediaries have faced price increases. Therefore, we expect that in the price meeting that will be held soon, there will be an increase in the price of wheat, so that the farmers who harvested the wheat will immediately deliver it to the government. Because in the previous years, mainly the wheat that was delivered to the government, we saw that the money was received late from the government. Therefore, a resolution is being prepared for the government to settle this issue within 24 hours.

The head of the agricultural trade union system said: "A decision has not yet been made regarding the guaranteed purchase price, but a decision will be made soon in the commission." We also hope that the guaranteed purchase price of wheat will increase and be announced sooner so that farmers can get out of the confusion.
