The slogan does not solve the problem of the agricultural sector

The executive secretary of the Chamber of Agricultural Guilds of Tabas and the representative of South Khorasan livestock farmers in the Chamber of Agricultural Guilds said: "Problems cannot be solved with slogans." Non-compliance of government sub-sectors with the approvals is not correct.

Massoud Reza Bandgi told Dehghan News: Production in the agricultural sector has nothing to do with slogans and slogans do not solve problems. We are facing a crisis in the matter of animal feed. At the beginning of this year, we followed up on the problems in Tabas and presented our suggestions. With the cooperation of the governor, agricultural jihad and the governor, we were able to control the price of animal feed. We expected that the Minister of Agricultural Jihad would also help at the macro level, so we made a correspondence to hold a meeting with the Minister regarding the drought in South Khorasan province and the urgent need to provide animal feed at a reasonable cost, which was finally followed up by the Honorable Member of Parliament. This meeting was held.

He continued: In the meeting with the presence of the minister and provincial managers in August of this year, we stated all the problems that the costs are very high and the livestock farmers cannot afford barley and animal feed and meat must be provided on the night of Eid, and he agreed and followed up with the deputy Livestock Affairs decided to buy the province's eliminated animals, but unfortunately, after some time passed, this minister's order was not carried out on time and they announced that the animals were pregnant and it was too late.

He added: We suggested that the government should come and give the herdsmen of the province long-term barley, but again, unfortunately, no one responded and no food was given to the herdsmen. We pursued the issue several times, until finally, with the approval of the support of livestock affairs and the governorate, it was agreed that the amount of 5,000 tons of long-term barley should be delivered to the ranchers by the government, but again, this issue is under investigation, and so far, no response has been given by the government. has not been I wonder why this rice remittance was not given to South Khorasan province and no cooperation is given.

He said: "The government and the parliament approve that the maturity of the loans be removed by the end of 1402, but the banks do their own work and do not listen to the approvals." The interest rate on loans has been announced at 23%, which is not suitable for farmers and ranchers and has not even been reduced. Farmers with these conditions are facing problems due to financial inability to pay heavy agricultural loan installments.

He added: All these problems and lack of cooperation caused the price of meat to fluctuate. Some are hitting the country's animal husbandry. Farmers no longer have lambs to raise. Probably, in the near future, we will not be able to produce milk and we will have to import milk.
